The Divine Feminine

Today there is a new woman on the rise but it is not at all a surprise. Thousands of women are discovering the Divine Feminine and are changing how they see think and treat themselves and others. As we move into the Aquarian Age millions more will be awaken to the soft sweet tenderness that allows for the manifestation of desires. Every 2600 years the world shifts into a new age. The age that we have left was the Age of Pisces which was an age when everything was ruled by the patriarch. Today we are guided by the FEMININE, which is really good news for the planet.

If you look at all the religions both Eastern and Western governments (world-wide) and financial institutions, you will see that they were all developed and maintained by men. It wasn't until the 20th century that women began reclaiming their voices. It was close to 200 years before the Caucasian women in America fought to have a right to vote. By the mid-century, women started taking off their bras, enter corporate American feminist movement and redesigned what is meant to be a home maker. However it has been a hard and slow process. And unfortunately in order for women to become successful we have taken on the practices, persona and behavior of men. Women complain that their female bosses can be harsh as men. What is important is in the patriarchal world is to be competitive and destroy the competition. If we continue we would just be men in women's bodies.

Fortunately, there are women energies creating a new woman who are the feminine face of leadership. I have fortunate to be guided and mentored by two powerhouses, Dr. Caroline Ezeese Fuqua, author of Say Yes to the Goddess, Say Yes to Life and Regena Thomashauer, founder of the School of Womanly Arts and author of "Pussy". My feminine began to knock on my heart and thank goddess I have reclaimed all of me.
Body Shame

"We are expected to be as thin as a model and as sexy as a rock star and smart as a Nobel Prize winner, and we must be ready to be selfied and Instagrammed at all times," says Regena Thomashauer AKA Mama Gena: author, teacher, and founder of the School of Womanly Arts, dedicated to the study of women's pleasure and success in New York City. "How can anyone measure up to the impossibly high standards of being a teenage girl today?

With enough pressure weighing on all of us, it's time to stop being your own frenemy, and start being the best friend you deserve. Here's how:
Check yourself before you wreck yourself
The first step toward overcoming body shaming is catching yourself in negative thought, says Mama Gena. "Break the habit of negative thinking by replacing unconscious messages with conscious, positive reframes that you have written for yourself," says Mama Gena.

Accessing your Divine Feminine

To access your Divine Feminine it's not a quick transformation we have years of myths to unlearn. For example in the past female bodies were the focus on how to please a man if you didn't have a body that attracted a man you will consume with shame.
For some girls shame begins in early childhood for example for as long as I can remember my godfather called to me butterball. Shame Is put upon women, even if you have an attractive body because you’re constantly wondering do you know how to keep it? Which has caused many eating disorders.

Undoing the constraints of the patriarchy can only happen when women feel safe with herself and safe with other women. The focus of the patriarchy is competition the focus of the Divine feminine is creating a safe sacred space for sisterhood. Find and join a group where women only hold you up and don’t put you down. Start conversations with others about your true emotions. Begin to live from what gives you pleasure and not from should.
